The Pit Stop Reading Area

I went with a NASCAR theme this year for my reading board. The reading area is called "The Pit Stop". The students decorated their own race cars which move around the track as they earn AR points. They loved seeing where their cars ended up on Monday mornings.

Day 1

Theme for the Day: Its never too late. Four years ago, I went back to school to finish my bachelors degree and obtain a teaching credential. After completing my first year of teaching 3rd Grade, I can honestly say it was worth all of the late study nights. It was a year full of joy and learning, for both my students and ME. So, today I set out to conquer my next challenge...blogging. I have gained so much from the blogs of other teachers, I've decided to start my own. So...here goes...
